Query:Eligibility Criteria for HEC funding
AOA Respected sir, I want to suggest that HEC must consider "HEC approved supervisors" as eligibility criteria, whether they are sitting in Universities or in Institutes. We are facing issues of being in-illegible for funding due to sitting in affiliated Institute. Which should not be the only criteria.There are many other things that matters more than that, and must considered. Personnel competency to complete the projects, to guide scholars, availability of sophisticated equipment, publication record can be considered for HEC approved supervisors to be illegible for funding. We being sitting in R & D Institutes, may be allowed to get enroll students at Universities, complete their course work over there and do research in these highly equipped labs (that HEC can confirm with their visit and monitoring). This can be a good effort to utilize HEC funding in a valuable way. Many scientists including me, can serve nation with these competitive grants to continue their equipment running and training the human resource from universities also.
